New Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer launches box office ticket pre-orders!

Star Wars: The Force Awakens has a new trailer, teasing a little of what is to come in the 7th instalment of the upcoming iconic space opera, with an epic space battle between the Resistance and the First Order. The release of this new trailer launches ticket pre-orders, available 2 months in advance, for cinema screenings across the globe.

Oscar Isaac, Daisy Ridley and John Boyega are a new generation of intergalactic heroes tasked with battling the sith lord known as Kylo Ren (Adam Driver). In the two and a half minute trailer, Kylo Ren promises that "Nothing will stand in our way... I will finish what you started", referring to Darth Vader's destroyed mask.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens takes place 30 years after the events of Return of the Jedi, as the brutal First Order re-arm in the ashes of the Empire. The fate of the Galaxy is now in the hands of three young warriors ... and a few familiar faces such as Han Solo (Harrison Ford), Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher) and Chewbacca (Peter Mayhew).

The Force Awakens, directed by J.J. Abrams, begins a new trilogy of sequels, which will continue with instalments directed by Rian Johnson and Colin Trevorrow.

The world premiere of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, will screen in Hollywood, ahead of its cinematic release in the UK on the 17th of December and the US on the 18th of December.
